We provide online language training sessions and related educational content through my Website and other digital platforms. These services include:

2. Service Availability and Limitations

We offer online language training sessions via the platforms Google Meet, Zoom, etc. While we aim to provide the best possible service, We cannot guarantee the availability of sessions or uninterrupted access to our services. Occasional technical issues, internet outages, or platform-related disruptions may impact the delivery of online sessions.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their devices and internet connections are working properly in order to attend the sessions.

3. Eligibility

To access and use the services, you must meet the following requirements:

3.1. Provide accurate, complete, and current information at the time of registration or when booking sessions.

3.2. Maintain a stable internet connection and possess appropriate equipment (such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone) necessary to participate in online sessions.

By accessing or using the services, you confirm and warrant that you satisfy all of the above eligibility criteria.

4. Payment

Pricing: Fees for certain services are listed on the Website. For other services; particularly group sessions or customized programs; clients must contact the service provider directly to receive a quote. Service fees vary based on factors such as the duration and type of session. While pricing may differ depending on these variables, the service provider does not modify fees arbitrarily once they have been communicated. Fees are fixed by the agreements made.

Payment Terms: Please contact us through the contact form or appointment system prior to making any payment. Once you have reviewed and finalized the course details, you may proceed with the payment.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Client: You may cancel or reschedule a session by providing at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within this timeframe will incur no additional fees. If notice is given less than 24 hours before the session, I reserve the right to charge the full session fee. All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted via email to kalevala.language.academy@gmail.com. Requests made through any other channels will not be accepted. Please note that sessions scheduled on public holidays are not automatically cancelled.

Lateness: The teacher will wait for up to 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of the session. If the participant does not join the session via the provided link within 15 minutes of the scheduled start, the session will be considered as attended. No refunds or rescheduling will be offered in such cases.

Cancellation by Teacher: In very rare circumstances, We may need to cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen events (e.g., technical issues, personal emergencies). If this occurs, We will reschedule the session with you or offer a full refund if no suitable time can be arranged.

Refunds: Refunds for sessions shall be provided exclusively in accordance with the cancellation policies set forth above. No refunds will be issued for sessions that have been partially or fully attended or for sessions that were missed.

6. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

Provide Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date personal and contact information. Failure to do so may lead to miscommunication or prevent the proper delivery of services.

Maintain Confidentiality: All materials and content provided before, during, or after sessions are intended solely for your personal use. You are prohibited from sharing, reproducing, or distributing these materials without my explicit written consent. Recording any part of the online sessions by any means without prior consent is strictly forbidden. Even with mutual consent to record, sharing the recording—whether privately or publicly—without my written permission is prohibited.

Unauthorised persons: In case of presence of unauthorised persons in the session, it will be at our discretion to disconnect from the session, without refund or rescheduling being offered.

Booking sessions: When purchasing a practice package with a specified number of sessions, the client is responsible for using all sessions within a 60-day period. Any sessions not booked within this timeframe will expire and cannot be rescheduled. To avoid losing any sessions, clients must ensure all sessions are booked within the 60-day period.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided through the Website or prior, during and/or after language training sessions (including but not limited to lesson materials, worksheets and videos) are the intellectual property of Kalevala Language Academy or are used with appropriate permission. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your personal language learning purposes only.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content provided without my express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no warranties or guarantees concerning:

Your learning outcomes or progress in language proficiency, as these may vary depending on individual effort, engagement, and other factors.

All services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement with respect to the Website, its content, and services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of Kalevala Language Academy or services.

My total liability for any claim arising from or related to the use of my services is limited to the amount you paid for the services in question.
